A father, two sons, and forty years of building.

Jeremy Trantina founded JAT Specialties in 2006, bringing with him a career built across civil engineering, construction administration, architectural project management, site supervision, site design and surveying. That mix is unusual for a homebuilder, and it is the reason our clients tend to get straight answers about sites, structures and budgets rather than optimistic ones.
Mitchell Trantina joined his father in the family business in 2016, and Mason Trantina joined the team in 2023. Between them they carry more than forty years of construction experience. We build traditional wood-frame homes throughout Walton County and specialise in Insulated Concrete Form construction, because a house on this coast should stand up to the strongest storms and still be one of the cheapest on the street to cool.

Founded JAT Specialties in 2006 and holds Florida Certified Building Contractor licence CBC1255741. Over twenty-five years across civil engineering, construction administration, architectural project management, site supervision, site design and surveying. Hands-on, on site.
Mitchell Trantina
Project Manager
Joined his father in the family business in 2016 and works alongside him on every project, sharing the same commitment to fine craftsmanship, attention to detail and seeing each job through properly.
Mason Trantina
Estimating & Site Development
Joined the JAT Specialties team in 2023 after earning his Bachelor’s in Construction Engineering from the University of Central Florida. With a background in civil engineering, estimating and site development, Mason brings a strong technical and analytical perspective to every project, bridging the gap between design, construction and project planning so jobs are accurately estimated, efficiently managed and built to the highest standards.
